That really depends on how you’re doing your pushups. When you do them make sure your shoulders are rolled back and your elbows are at 45 degree angles not 90.

Proper forms are important, also it might be because muscle on two sides of our shoulders are not balanced, like if you are left handed you will be stronger on the left side… so try to go with the weaker side and don’t leave it behind, otherwise it will cause sports injury in long term

shinah kahn: try doing wall pushups if you are having any pain, then when you feel the proper form better, and build up the muscles necessary for pushups, you can try the floor pushup. that is what i was told to do and it worked for me

Good morning FB Family! How many times a week do you workout? We usually workout between 3-5 times a week – it really varies. We workout to feel good and live better lives, not the other way around. I’ve seen a few people in our new community forums (check them out @ https://www.fitnessblender.com/community) who have expressed disappointment at hitting “only” 4 workout days a week, as opposed to 5 or 6. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with 4 workouts a week! Or even 3, if you’re talking about strength training and HIIT, combined with a general lifestyle that doesn’t involve lots of time sitting in front of the tv or computer screen (mixed activity like walking, swimming, stretching, hiking, snowboarding, etc, all count!). I think a lot of people are actually overtraining. It’s crucial that you listen to your body and allow yourself flexibility. A rigid mindset is not helpful and there’s nothing wrong with not hitting every single workout, especially if you work a job that has you on your feet all day or if you feel like your body needs less intense activity on any given day. How do you walk the line of pushing yourself and being disciplined, and respecting your body’s needs? Share your experience!

i actually only “workout” twice per week, but I do stretching, yoga, foam rolling, on four of the other days. Keeps me healthy and enjoying working out.

I was working out 6 days a week but recently changed it up to 4 sometimes 5 days a week. Also if I absolutely don’t feel like working out or feeling really sore I’ll skip that day. This workout was tough especially those deadlifts! But felt so good afterwards πŸ˜‰ Thanks Fitnessblender.

I’m also 14 and I’ve been working out with FB for nearly a year.
I would advise you to eat real food and to cut fried foods completely out of your diet and NEVER eat less than 1200 calories a day, infact us as teenagers need to eat more than adults
and you want to walk as much as you can even half an hour each day would work, and don’t sit too much, and workout from 2-5 times a week as you can.
You’ll eventually get to your goal as you keep committed to being healthy.
I believe you can do it❀
(Also remember to treat yourself every once in a while)

Before I got pregnant I worked out almost daily. Unfortunately while I was pregnant I developed a medical condition effecting my thyroid. I gained a bunch of weight and no matter how much I worked out I couldn’t lose it. I’m now healed and starting my weight loss journey! I thought I’d start easy…So I did this workout with a lot of modifications lol! My legs are not thanking me…But they will be when I look the way I want to πŸ˜‰
