Good morning! We missed you guys. Happy to be back.
Q: What’s your biggest motivator to exercise?
Hope you enjoy this new workout!

Rica Bahnari says:

As many of us, I want to look good – this made me start working out. But what really makes me keep up is the feeling that my body listens to me and that I am not tired doing activities that I love.
Thank you guys for making it so enjoyable 🙂

Chalynda Jackson says:

knowing that the more consistent I am with working out the closer I get to my goal weight

Laura Borchmann says:

I am motivated to workout knowing how good it feels–mentally and physically. Also, I press on for more visible results. Quite frankly, I like the muscles I gained through working out. :))

Breeze Mack says:

To live a longer healthier life so if I make it pass 60 or 70 I won’t have the need for anyone to push me around. Nice workout

Bethany Hart says:

A: Reminding myself about my future self! I want to be a healthy person for my family so that I can (to the best of what I can control) live long and be there for them to enjoy life with them.

Stacey Blaske says:

Awesome – glad you guys are back, and congrats on 8 years! Excited to try this one today.

Stacey Blaske says:

SPOILER ALERT: Surprise burpees!

Paula P says:

Great Workout Kelly!!! Thank u! Loved the ransoms twisty square and lunge jump/leg raises. Way to change it up I was panting so hard great cardio!!

I wonder if u guys would consider adding links to supplemental workouts for a total body burn out (don’t know what to call it). For instance this HIIT routine could have a link below for a Weights routine and/or an Abs routine. Very often I want to workout even more intensely or longer and it’s always a little frustrating to try to find what to do next after I have HIIT brain or even after a weights routine trying to do HIIT afterwards. I wonder if other viewers feel the same way? Anyways just a suggestion. Like can u guys do even more for us?? Lol
You guys r great and the videos are SO APPRECIATED!! Thank u!!!!

FitnessBlender says:

I totally see your point (thank you for the feedback) but I didn’t link another workout because you really don’t necessarily need another workout after this one. If you have “HIIT brain” enough that you’re having trouble thinking afterwards, you may be better off with a snack/meal and a big glass of water. Remember that more is not necessarily better!

Paula P says:

FitnessBlender hahahah yea definitely drinking the water! Lol thanks for the quick reply

Ellen Prescott says:

I’ve got weak ankles and when it comes to doing cardio workouts I struggle to do jumping jacks and similar high impact exercises. I was wondering if you have any advice on what exercises I can do that will burn the same amount of fat without causing injury to my ankles? If you have any suggestions please let me know! 🙂

Sohair El-Geziry says:

Ellen Prescott – I’m not sure if it burns the same amount of fat but maybe u could try a swimming hiit workout or maybe do boxing exercises without the kicks or moving around too much. You could also try exercises that strengthen your ankles; I’m not familiar with any myself but google could help 🙂

Ellen Prescott says:

Sohair El-Geziry thank you for the advice, waiting for summer to come around so I can swim, but I’ll check out some boxing exercises!

FitnessBlender says:

You will definitely want to talk to a professional that has all of your health care history, but in general, I would recommend sticking to the low impact version of the same exercises until you feel you’ve built stability and strength around that joint.

Ellen Prescott says:

FitnessBlender thank you for replying, I’ll start out slow and work my way up to the higher impact mods, with my doctors approval of course! 🙂

Chloe Shirley says:

So excited to try this!:) I am a 14 year old and have been doing some different workouts from fitness blender for a while now, but I’m still unsure on how often I should do things like HIIT and if I should be doing strength training also? I am quite a naturally skinny stick like girl but have some belly fat. Should I combine cardio and strength or do them on separate days, or is it even safe for a teenager to do these regularly? Sorry if these questions sound silly, I’d really appreciate if someone could help me out:)🤷🏻‍♀️

foreverme147 says:

Hey Chloe 🙂
I also started when I was I was 14 and 4 years later I’ve never felt better!
As K & D say only do HIIT 3 times a week maximum on non consecutive days and pair it with strength training for better results ( and to get stronger which is soooo cool!!) You can do weight training and cardio on the same day if you want or on seperate days as long as you don’t target the same muscles. Basially don’t do a lower body HIIT if you worked on the lower body the day before. Just don’t worry about it too much working out is a lifelong contract you should have “fun” doing it and not tremble in fear when you think about it. Just don’t overwork yourself and you’ll be fine.
I do hope this helped 🙂

Chloe Shirley says:

foreverme147 thank you so much for the help!
