I agree that every body is different! All the healthy diets work, you just have to stick with it! I need to do low carb because I need to eat as much as I want. I’ll binge if I eat in moderation. Keto is too strict for me. I do low carb but still eat complex carbs, sweet potatoes are my life. I love eating this way because of the fact I can eat as much as I want. I had my baby girl April 19th, and I’ve lost 50 pounds in 4 months! I’ve never felt lighter and more full of energy. And I am never hungry. If I want to binge I literally eat pepperoni and cheese with celery until I can’t take it anymore lol. And you can fry the pepperoni 🤤 I eat 20 chicken wings with buffalo wing sauce and a big ceasar salad for supper. Or a big steak and baked sweet potato with garlic.. just some of the stuff I eat. Plus low carb fat bombs for chocolate.. amazing. And I still lose!

Also I have to add.. the ultrasound tech should not have been pressing hard enough to make you bleed. I have a lot of belly fat and they never had any trouble with ultrasounds. I think she was just running behind and took it out on you and that’s so awful. 😞

For me personally, low carb helped me a lot loosing weight, but I have to have my cheat meal once a weak to keep me away from binging. No matter what kind of diet, it’s all about calories in Vs calories out..

I hated the idea of Keto, even thought it was a heart attack waiting to happen, but after my cousin lost over 100lbs and then a long time friend lost over 100lbs I decided to give it a shot. I’ve tried everything else by now. So…this “diet” is SO far beyond other diets. I swear, the weight loss is the least impressive side effect. First off, you don’t have to eat meat at all if you don’t want! Even vegans can do keto. When you’re in ketosis you won’t be hungry. I could regularly eat half a pizza, followed by dessert, and be hungry 30 mins later. Now I can eat once a day and be fine! My blood pressure, cholesterol, everything was awful (bad for an 80yr old, and I’m 25) before I started and now its all perfect! I have so much energy and just feel great. Just saying that no amount of research will prepare you for how amazing it feels to be in ketosis, it’s addictive, and I think that is the key to the success, no matter how much I love carbs I can’t go back to feeling hungry, bloated, sore, moody and lethargic ever again. Plus I still have a cheat meal once a week!

I do vegan keto and its the BEST. I felt so horrible eating a high carb diet (i gained 20 lbs) and now that i’m low carb everything has changed for me. Weight falls off and i have SO.MUCH.ENERGY. Super happy with my results and its so easy. Also, i completely stopped binge eating. I was eating wayyy too much sugar (natural sugars are still sugar) and its changed my life.

avocados, coconut yogurt, unsweetened almond milk or cashew milk, small amount of berries, cauliflower fried rice, shirataki noodles, tofu, seitan, stir frys, nuts and seeds, peanut butter, i do lettuce wraps, lots of salad with fatty dressings. I never feel deprived or hungry.

Girl breastfeeding makes it do hard to loose weight! I am currently breastfeeding my 15 month old & trust me the struggle is real! Also I had the same issue with a ultrasound tech pushing super hard. I had bruises afterwards & was tender for awhile! My sister was in there & couldnt believe how hard she was pushing. Luckily I didn’t bleed! That’s horrible! I can’t believe how nasty she was to you!

We shouldn’t bleed or bruise! In 2018 the ultrasound machines are good enough even if we are overweight.

I was told I could not do it by my doctor due to high cholesterol, high triglycerides. Keto diet adds more fat in your diet.
Now, on a different note my sister in law did it and lost 80lbs in 6 months.

People choosing the ketogenic way of life typically focus on healthy fats. Not trans fats or saturated fats. Doctors have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to weight loss, and I truly believe they dont want people healthy. Its simple though. Restrict your calories and exercise and you will lose weight.

When you were talking about avoiding nasty criticism so you chose a nice sweet nurse. As empaths, we are repulsed by strong negative energy. It’s a turn off and we shutt down. We avoid certain people and situations because we are highly sensitive and can pick up on people’s energy levels. As empaths we are very emotional. We feel very deeply. We love deeply. We are not shallow people. As I got older cuz I’m 33 yrs old, I’ve learned to deal with my sensitive nature in a better way. You need some type of an outlet to let go of all this inside of you, one great way is exercising and doing hobbies you enjoy doing. We are a blessing to this world. Empaths hold the pie together if you know what I mean. Our core essence is love. I hope this helped Jenn

I’m sorry that ultrasound tech was rude to you! It’s a shame when you’re treated that way by someone who is supposed to be professional! At one of my baby appointments, the doctor told me after I had the baby I had to lose weight or I was “going to die”. I had higher blood pressure during my pregnancy but all of my other doctors were very nice about it and helped me by giving me tips to manage it. Needless to say, I made sure that doctor was not the one to deliver my son! You keep doing you, momma! I love watching your videos and seeing your sweet baby boy grow! ❤️

Plant based 👏 is so much healthier than Keto. Keto is for weight loss only, not a long term healthy diet. (My opinion of course) I eat plenty of (healthy) carbs and have lost tons of weight. Any diet that tells me to limit fruits and vegetables is not a diet that I want to follow, sorry.

I think the healthiest diet is the one that makes you feel great, the most effective diet is the one you can stick to. For me, that is keto, for you that might be something else! I saw a study came out today that said that keto takes three years off your life span. My mom also saw it and she rang me up and was like “you need to stop this diet now”. I told her that morbid obesity (which I have suffered from for a long time and which I am finally for the first time able to tackle) is estimated to take 10-14 years off your life span.. so for me the choice is easy. I don’t think I’ll be keto forever but l aim to never go back to eating sugar-filled treats every day, or filling up on bread and rice. I finally found something that helps me control my food addiction. I think maybe there is no one diet that works for everyone, people’s bodies are different, the causes for excess weight differ and people’s lives and circumstances differ and each person has to find the method that works for them individually.

My second baby is exactly a month younger than George and I’ve definitely realised this time round, going back to babyhood, that it really is the first year that is restrictive regarding ‘me time’/self-care/diet and exercise. Babies are all-consuming! I know that’s stating the obvious, but I hadn’t realised how much more independent my first son had become, until I had my second! So you’re right in giving yourself this first year with your first baby, to just adjust and enjoy it. It flies by anyway – they’re nearly one already! 😭
