I really think it would be amazing & super motivating if you guys came out with a program specifically for true beginners- preferably low impact, or maybe just another awesome 3-5 day challenge (love those so much). Thanks to you guys, I’m no longer a beginner. But I’m trying to get my Mom who is over 50 and very unhealthy to start working out with me and it is challenging for me to find videos she’d be capable of this early in her journey. She’s trying her best but since she’s such a beginner she really doesn’t know much about form and the importance of breathing. She lost over 30 pounds over the last two years just from changing her eating habits but got discouraged once she plateaued. I’ve always thought that even people who eat well come in all different shapes and sizes. That there is only so much changing your diet can do for you, that she needs to give exercising regularly a real shot, would you guys agree with this? Do you have any videos you could recommend? Obviously her goal is still fat loss – my goal for her is to just keep moving.

well, do cardio but personally, I prefer to incorporate strength training since I want to build strength and keep my curves while I lose weight. If you just do cardio, you’re going to lose a lot of strength, shape, and good health. I’m not over weight, I just want to tone up a bit so, if you’re in the same situation as me, try doing lots of strength training over cardio.
