I think what really helped me regain control of my health is listening to my body and doing what I enjoy. Do the workouts you like to do and eat the clean foods you ENJOY. If you love what you do, then you will always come back to it. Also, ditch the focus on weight loss and appearance. Yes, that is quite difficult in the beginning, but changes in appearance will eventually follow after you treat your body with the respect it deserves. Workout to treat your body (it was designed to move) and to beat your personal bests. If you are hungry, EAT! Nothing will give you better feedback than your body itself. It is not your enemy. It takes time to find out what moves you, so keep persisting and you will be rewarded. Hope I could help you out!

Za Igre I have the same issue! I didn’t even know there was a name for it until I discovered it a few months back. All along I thought that I had a weird body that held on to fat in strange places but I’m glad to see that it’s normal. Hip dips just give the illusion that you have love handles which I hate! I have very prominent hip bones and I also have a thigh gap because that’s just the way my body is built. Embrace yourself πŸ™‚

I try to love and accept them, but I still wouldn’t mind if I could get rid of them πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ I actually have a similar body type as Kelly, just that my arms are fatter, my bely is fatter and my legs are fatter lol. I guess having low belly fat could help a lot, but of course this is the area that takes the longest to change it πŸ˜›

Nevermind I just read the comments on this thread. I also looked up hip dips to make sure I was thinking of the right thing. There’s nothing wrong with them. Odd because I’ve actually always admired them because I usually see them on fit women with toned legs/bodies. Stupid trends… Watch when hip dips start to be in years from now. When I was growing up, skinny bodies and big boobs were the trends and now curvy bodies and big butts are the trends. Just love your body the way it is because society cannot and will not permanently make up their minds about what’s considered beautiful. Why stress yourself out about it?
