I’m SO glad you’re back. I wish I could explain how incredibly similar our stories are. It’s true that you can’t know what anyone is going through unless you’re living their exact life, but there are so many of us going through similar things right now/in the very recent past. Hearing somebody else talk about it, sometimes putting words to the feelings you haven’t figured out how to outwardly express, is beyond comforting. So thank you. Thank you for finding the strength and courage to share with us. Thank you for always being honest and open when you do post. Thank you for helping me feel less alone.

Jenn's Journey says:

This comment is everything! 😭 This is why I made this video, to feel less alone. Thanks girl, you’re so sweet and I appreciate you.

Lupie Housewife says:

We love you Jenn! You know I felt like I was looking in the mirror when you were speaking. I’ve been feeling the same lack of motivation and depression since October too. I have autoimmune disorders and want to stay in bed but always push through because I feel guilty. My husband was self-employed for many years. Then a few years ago, he got a job and that was a very depressing year for me. I felt resentful like you and insignificant and helpless. I was all alone at home and became obsessive about everything. Now, I only get like this when I’m having a flare or seasonally in the fall and winter. I haven’t shopped for one gift yet. I am overwhelmed and blah right now so don’t feel alone. You’re a great mom and you’re doing what you can. Cut yourself some slack. Forget about the pressure of any diet-related video stuff. You need to relax and enjoy your family this Christmas and soon you will see the clouds lift. Forget the haters. Remember you have supporters who care about you and get it. I hope you have a blessed Christmas and a very happy New Year! Keep your head up beautiful! ♡

Claire Bostick says:

Happy to see you recording, but put your self and your family first. Also talk to your doctor about your depression

FoundIn Alaska says:

It’s good to see you Jenn! I’ve been on the same struggle bus and have no motivation. It’s so hard. It’s so good to see you and hear from you.

Iowa Mama says:

Depression is real. A lot of people suffer. It’s very strong of you to share your story. You are not alone. Being a SAHM is a hard job. Much love to you.

Saydi Poth says:

I think one of the reasons we fail when we are trying to lose weight, aside from all of the obvious reasons. I think we psych ourselves up which then puts more pressure on our goals. I myself am struggling, but my story is different. I hope you reach your goal, I always say no matter if I fail, I am never done trying.

Shauna Hoare says:

It’s so good to see you back! Take your time, be gentle with yourself and we’ll be here waiting for you! Hang in there 💜

Shalonna Baide says:

I too am glad to see you back! Like you, life has been rough. My husband had back surgery, he can’t lift our(26lb) son for the next 3 months and I work 10 HR days. So it’s up to me to be a house wife, a care taker and the provider. Finances are rough, I’m 90 pounds overweight. Ugh! You are such a strong person and you have such a beautiful family! Thanks for sharing!

You are so brave, Jenn. Hang in there, and things will get better. Happy holidays to you and your sweet family :o)

Phyllis Brake says:

A little home bound, no escape route! I get it! There are a few times in your life where a chemmical/hormonal change occurs in your body. One is puberty, and another big one is childbirth. A lot of adjustments have to be made. Talk to your mom, your friends, anyone you can to understand what’s happening inside your body so you can truly recognize why your feeling this way.plus since you’ve just had a baby, could this be a little post partum depression. Talk to your Dr too. Whatever you can to see if this is something yo worry about or maybe something that will lift after some time. Also, once he is a little more mobile, you will get back some more freedom to go out a little more. It will be fine! You got this, Jenn! Your a strong woman! You’ve done this weight loss journey before, you can do it again. And if that’s not what you want to do right now then put it off until you want to or ready to. Put yourself And Your family first, always! Lots of love, feel better!

Allie 1213 says:

Glad to see you’re back to filming 💙
I relate to you a lot more than you could know. Hang in there mama

sarah Garbarino says:

You are the real thing. I’ve followed you from the beginning. I will admit I started watching you because of your weight loss but that was before I started feeling like you were part of my family. You’re a person first and your weight loss second. You are not defined by that. Depression is normal. I’m going through denture fittings and am depressed about that. I’m uplifted by your vlogs and your honesty. You are refreshing because of that honesty. I’ll be watching you until you don’t make videos anymore and that would be heartbreaking. George is such a major addition and so cute. I know he must take your mind off depression. I’m a gall bladder family survivor. My 2 daughters. Son, me and my GF have all had ours out. So I can relate. I love you and your family! Stay strong and Merry Christmas!!

Nellie Leigh says:

Jenn, my heart breaks watching this. I know exactly what you mean, I have felt this way for ages about my weight and motivation levels. I went to the Dr and got loads of bloods checked and all my hormones were totally off. If you haven’t had a physical check over I’d suggest going because if one hormone is wrong it can make you feel terrible, upset, exhausted and just generally meh. As for vlogging, blogging, losing weight etc, we will be here to support you and be there for you whenever you feel ready. Merry Christmas sending love and hugs xxxxxx

Freckle Finance says:

Thanks for making a video about that. About 2 months ago I started the weaning process and I had NO idea why but I just felt this immense.. I don’t know what you’d call it but anxiety, depression, just feeling horrible and my husband was away for part of this for work and I don’t know I feel back to normal now but it was ROUGH going for a while there.
